Previously he was a founding partner of Andino Capital Markets, a Latin American investment bank, where he was directly responsible for corporate finance and private equity investments. From 1991 to 1992, Mr. Perez Branger managed the Corporate Finance Department at Vestcorpartners, a regional investment bank. Prior to this, he was Vice-President in charge of capital markets and corporate finance at Citibank, Caracas. |
Mario Caron - DirectorMr. Caron is a mining engineer and has held numerous senior executive and board positions with companies operating internationally. Most recently he served as the President and CEO of Axmin Inc, a TSX-V listed exploration and development company active in Africa. Mr Caron is a Director of Axmin Inc. and he is the Chairman of Orosur Mining Inc, a fully integrated gold producer and explorer operating in Latin America and with the only producing gold mine in Uruguay. He has held positions with Tiberon Minerals Ltd., the developer of a tungsten mine in Vietnam, Defiance Mining Corporation, which brought the Tasiast gold project in Mauritania to feasibility and Eden Roc Mineral Corp., a gold producer in Cote d'Ivoire. Mr. Caron received his Bachelor of Engineering, Mining at McGill University and is a member of the Quebec Order of Engineers and the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario. |
Robert Doyle - DirectorMr. Doyle has spent over 30 years in the mining industry and has been involved with Medoro Resources since its inception. He was Chief Executive Officer of the company until October 2009, and Executive Vice President prior to that. Previously Mr. Doyle was Chief Financial Officer of a number of companies including Pacific Stratus Energy, Coalcorp Mining Inc., Bolivar Gold Corp. and HMZ Metals Inc. Prior to that Mr. Doyle was a precious metals analyst with Credit Suisse First Boston and RBC Dominion Securities. John Hick - President and Chief Executive Officer and DirectorMr Hick has over 28 years of executive management experience principally in the mining industry. From December 2004 to June 2006 he was the Chief Executive Officer and then Vice Chairman of Rio Narcea Gold Mines Ltd. Prior to that Mr. Hick was President and Chief Executive Officer of Defiance Mining Corp. and its predecessor company, Geomaque Explorations Ltd., until it was acquired by Rio Narcea in 2004.
