Jaime Perez Branger - Director

Mr. Perez Branger has a master's degree in economics from the London School of Economics and has more than 20 years of experience in the financial and industrial sector. He is the founder and Managing Director of NextVentures Corp, a financial advisory firm. He is also President of a family holding company with, among other things, interests in tourism and construction. In addition, he is a member of the board of directors of a number of companies inside and outside of Venezuela related to the financial, agricultural, commercial and tourism sectors, as well as a director of several business guild organizations. Previously he was a founding partner of Andino Capital Markets, a Latin American investment bank, where he was directly responsible for corporate finance and private equity investments. From 1991 to 1992, Mr. Perez Branger managed the Corporate Finance Department at Vestcorpartners, a regional investment bank. Prior to this, he was Vice-President in charge of capital markets and corporate finance at Citibank, Caracas.

Mario Caron - Director

Mr. Caron is a mining engineer and has held numerous senior executive and board positions with companies operating internationally. Most recently he served as the President and CEO of Axmin Inc, a TSX-V listed exploration and development company active in Africa. Mr Caron is a Director of Axmin Inc. and he is the Chairman of Orosur Mining Inc, a fully integrated gold producer and explorer operating in Latin America and with the only producing gold mine in Uruguay. He has held positions with Tiberon Minerals Ltd., the developer of a tungsten mine in Vietnam, Defiance Mining Corporation, which brought the Tasiast gold project in Mauritania to feasibility and Eden Roc Mineral Corp., a gold producer in Cote d'Ivoire. Mr. Caron received his Bachelor of Engineering, Mining at McGill University and is a member of the Quebec Order of Engineers and the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario.

Robert Doyle - Director

Mr. Doyle has spent over 30 years in the mining industry and has been involved with Medoro Resources since its inception. He was Chief Executive Officer of the company until October 2009, and Executive Vice President prior to that. Previously Mr. Doyle was Chief Financial Officer of a number of companies including Pacific Stratus Energy, Coalcorp Mining Inc., Bolivar Gold Corp. and HMZ Metals Inc. Prior to that Mr. Doyle was a precious metals analyst with Credit Suisse First Boston and RBC Dominion Securities. In addition he has held a number of financial and executive positions with Falconbridge Limited and LAC Minerals. Mr. Doyle also sits on the boards of Golden Star Resources Ltd. and NXA Inc. He is a designated Chartered Accountant and Chartered Director.

John Hick - President and Chief Executive Officer and Director

Mr Hick has over 28 years of executive management experience principally in the mining industry. From December 2004 to June 2006 he was the Chief Executive Officer and then Vice Chairman of Rio Narcea Gold Mines Ltd. Prior to that Mr. Hick was President and Chief Executive Officer of Defiance Mining Corp. and its predecessor company, Geomaque Explorations Ltd., until it was acquired by Rio Narcea in 2004. Mr. Hick also serves as an independent director for a number of companies, principally in the mining industry. Mr. Hick holds an LL.B and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1978.

Augusto Lopez - Director

Mr. Lopez is the former President of Bavaria S.A., Colombia's largest producer of beverages, and sits on the boards of numerous Canadian, Colombian, and Latin American enterprises involved in the securities, television, airline, cellular, and banking industries, among others. He currently serves as a director of Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. Mr. Lopez has also received many governmental and professional citations, both within Colombia and throughout the world.

J. Randall Martin - Director

Mr. Martin is a mining engineer with over 30 years experience and is currently chairman and CEO of RNC (Management) Ltd. a private mining, energy and forestry company located in Nicaragua. Mr. Martin is also a director and member of the executive committee of Norteak Madera S.A. a forest management company also located in Nicaragua. Previously Mr. Martin was vice-chairman and CEO of Colombia Goldfields Ltd. prior to its merger with Medoro Resources. Prior to that he was chairman and CEO of RNC Gold from its inception until its amalgamation with Yamana Gold. Mr. Martin is a graduate of the Krumb School of Mines at Colombia University in the City of New York.

Robert J. Metcalfe - Chairman and Director

Mr. Metcalfe is counsel to Metcalfe, Blainey & Burns LLP. He was a senior partner with the law firm Lang Michener LLP for 20 years, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Armadale Properties (office block construction, land development, automotive, and financial services) for 7 years. He currently serves as a director on a number of boards of public companies, including natural resource companies Alange Energy Corp. (oil and gas) and Xinergy Corp. (coal in Tennessee), as well as private companies, EPS Corp. of California (a Cleantech company engaged in energy conservation and technology), and Envirotower Inc. (an international company engaged in the business of energy and water conservation). Mr. Metcalfe is also a former director of Radiant Energy Corporation, numerous natural resource corporations, including Central Patricia Gold Mines Limited, Iron Bay Trust Inc., Faraday Resources (Uranium) Ltd., and Chimo Mines Inc., as well as Canada Lands Company Limited, the largest real estate corporation in Canada, and past director and Chairman of CN Tower, the tallest communications structure in the world.

Keith Morrison - Director

Mr. Morrison, a geophysicist, is currently CEO and a director of Gedex Inc., a private exploration technology firm. He has over 25 years of experience in both senior management and director capacities. Mr. Morrison has extensive experience in strategy, finance, exploration, technology, global operations, capital markets and corporate development in the area of geoscience. He co-founded various companies, including Quantec Geoscience Limited, a company which provides geophysical services to the mining industry and GQX Limited, a leader in mineral exploration work in Mongolia. Mr Morrison currently serves as chairman of the board of TSX-listed Aeroquest International Limited, a global provider of airborne geophysical survey services. He holds a degree in Applied Science and Engineering Geophysics from Queens University and is a graduate of the University of Toronto Rotman School of Business ICD Program. He is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors, Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario, Prospectors and Developers Association, Society of Exploration Geophysicists and the Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists.

Courtney Neeb - Director

Mr. Neeb is President and Chief Executive Officer of Amazon Air, an executive aviation management and charter company providing services to major oil companies and international corporations operating in Venezuela. He is also founder and CEO of Wyngs Aviation, managing director of Mutaca, and a founder of Aurisur, the company that consolidated the Lo Increible property between 1987 and 1993. Mr. Neeb has previously been a director of a number of mining companies within Venezuela and internationally. He is also a founding member of Camiven, the Venezuelan Mining Chamber, where he served as director and Vice President from 1991 until 2000, and has served on the mining committee of Venamcham (the Venezuelan American business chamber) and continues to be active in other business chambers. He has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Texas at El Paso.
